The NFL’s Benjamin Watson and DeAngelo Williams get some daddy-daughter time by doing their daughters’ hair.
In an effort to encourage dads to spend more time with their daughters, Pantene has created an amazing campaign that enlists the help of NFL stars and their daughters.
New Orleans Saint Benjamin Watson and Pittsburgh Steeler DeAngelo Williams attempt to tackle their daughters’ hair, and it’s not only a cute look at their relationships with their daughters, but as part of the campaign, the players also offer some advice to other dads.
“If you’re a father and you only have so many hours in a day, maybe doing their hair is one of the things you can do to connect with them and build the relationship,” Watson says, as he attempts to put pigtails in his daughter Grace’s hair.
So the pigtails are just a little lopsided, that doesn’t matter to Grace.
Williams has his hands full with not one, but two, daughters as he tries his best to style their hair.
“The only style that I’m able to do is a ponytail,” Williams says, as he fusses with detangler and a comb in his older daughter, Rhiya’s, hair.
“You just gotta bump the ends a little bit. I’m definitely stepping out of my comfort zone,” Williams says.
Williams hilariously suggests that barrettes should come with warning labels to make a father’s life easier. When Rhiya asks her father to put the bow inside the braid, you can tell there is a fumble on the play. Williams cautiously says, “Yeah.” Even though the look on his face says otherwise.
